The professional voice of UAS in Spain

We represent manufacturers, operators and flight test centres who are driving a new generation of aerial services for industry, infrastructure, security, and territory observation and management.

Connecting industry, regulation and technology

Unmanned aerial systems are no longer an emerging technology; they have become a key tool in the economy, security, infrastructure inspection, land management and advanced aerial services. According to EASA and AESA, Europe now has more than 1.6 million registered drone operators, while Spain closed 2025 with 150,332 registered operators, in a context of regulatory consolidation.

At the same time, Europe has reinforced the importance of UAS not only on the economic and industrial front, but also in resilience, critical infrastructure protection and security, positioning this sector as a high-impact and strategically valuable technology.

In this scenario, ECUAS emerges: an association focused on representing the professional sector of unmanned aerial systems in innovative aerial work and services, with the aim of promoting in Spain a more solid, safe, competitive and international UAS ecosystem, capable of growing and gaining prominence in Europe.
